Deputy Headteacher

SS Peter and Paul is a small Catholic Primary school located in a vibrant part of Bristol. The school serves the parishes of SS Peter and Paul Cathedral Church and St Mary on the Quay. It has a rich and diverse community which is very supportive of the school. The Governors are seeking to recruit an excellent Catholic practitioner who has a commitment to Catholic education and is ambitious for themselves and their pupils, and is inspirational in their approach to education.   

We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher who:

  • is passionate about and has a clear understanding of Catholic education and can articulate that understanding to others
  • is an outstanding teacher who is an inspirational leader motivating staff and children to reach their full potential
  • can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when communicating with all members of our community, the Parishes and Diocese
  • has a clear track record of raising standards in all curriculum areas
  • is committed to the well-being of all our pupils by ensuring that the school is fully inclusive
  • is creative, open-minded and forward thinking
